The college admission process is streamlined and automated by implementing software for the admission procedure. Software reduces physical tasks, minimizes paperwork, and automates repetitive processes, making the admission workflow well-organized. This helps save time and resources.

Admission procedure

Enquiry and Application submission: Applicants fill out and submit their application forms online through the admission software platform. These forms include personal information, academic history and other required documents.
Application review: Chair person and committee members access the software platform to review and evaluate applications electronically. They use predefined eligibility criteria or rubrics prescribed by the Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University.

Communication and notifications: The software can automate communication with applicants, sending acknowledgment emails upon application submission and notifications regarding the status of their application throughout the process. This helps keep applicants informed and reduces administrative workload.

Acceptance and Enrollment: The enrollment process is facilitated by providing instructions for completing registration, paying fees, and submitting additional documentation. Once admission decisions are made, the original certificates of the applicants are received to check their genuineness. In order to proceed with the enrollment process, it is necessary for the institution to submit their certificates to the university.  Following careful evaluation of all submitted documents and academic backgrounds, the candidates are admitted to the desired courses.  

Eligibility for Admission to B.Ed. program

 A candidate shall be eligible for admission to B.Ed. programme leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) provided fulfilling the prescribed educational qualification and other requirements as specified in the B.Ed. admission Guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu in force from time to time.

Eligibility for Admission to M.Ed. program

Eligibility for Admission (a) Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed. Degree Programme should have obtained at least 50% marks (aggregate in theory and practicum) or an equivalent grade in the following programmes: 

i)    B.Ed. 
ii)    B.A.B.Ed. 
iii)    B.Sc.B.Ed. 
iv)    B.El.Ed
