The main objective of the library committee is to oversee and improve library resources and services. It also offers policy guidance that aligns with the institution`s goals, promoting continuous improvement to meet learner`s needs.

Library Policies and Functions:

The library committee meeting is conducted every academic year to procure books, journals, magazines and required materials. The library committee provide

1. Standards for choosing and acquiring library materials.
2. Regulations for borrowing and returning items.
3. Guidelines for behaviour to maintain in library.
4. Rules for accessing library resources, including digital databases and internet use.
5. Measures to ensure the protection of users’ personal information and borrowing records.
6. Procedures for managing overdue items and associated fines.
7. Restrictions on actions such as eating, making loud noises, or vandalizing property.
8. Regulations for using library computers and internet.
9. Expectations of staff to adhere to ethical practices and library values.
10. Provision for self- study.
