Objectives:

The committee aims to enhance social responsibilities of the students. They are encouraged to participate actively in community services to attain the professional goals. It strives to build leadership and teamwork through organized activities and projects. It also strengthens student’s sense of community involvement and belongingness through collaborative events and programs.

Functions:

• P. Perichi Gounder Memorial Charitable Trust is actively involved and committed to contributing to the welfare of the community through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
• Develop, plan, and coordinate extension activities to address the community needs.
• Forge and nurture partnerships with organizations and stakeholders to enhance extension initiatives.
• Implement monitoring systems to track progress, making adjustments to improve effectiveness and evaluating the outcomes of extension activities.
• Promotes awareness through various communication channels to engage the target audience and increase participation.
• Provides regular updates on the progress of extension activities.
