Anti-ragging cell

The Anti-ragging cell has been established in our institution to make sure that the rules and laws regarding ragging are followed, to investigate the complaints and to monitor the efforts to prevent ragging.
Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus. Every student is required to familiarize themselves with the rules, regulations and standards regarding the code of conduct and anti-ragging measures.

Objectives of the cell:

  • To make the pupils aware of the absurdity and dehumanising effects of ragging.
  • To continuously monitor and keep an eye out of ragging in order to stop it from occurring and repeating.
  • To make prompt and severe action against any incidents of ragging that are brought to attention.

Functions of the cell 

  • To conduct meeting on regular basis to discuss the significant issues on ragging.
  • To inform students about the harmful effects of ragging.
  • To receive the complaints and to take necessary actions.
  • To orient the students and conduct awareness programmes against the threat of ragging.
  • To monitor anti-ragging activities in the institution.
  • To take all required measures to avoid ragging in campus and in the hostels.
