A one-day seminar on “Research Methodology and Statistical Practices in Education” was organized by Dr. Hemamalini, Faculty Member, PPG College of Education, with the aim of enhancing research and statistical skills among educators and students.
Dr. N. Chitra, Principal of PPG College of Education, chaired the event and highlighted the importance of research in her welcome address. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. V. Srinivasan, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Education, who delivered the first session on foundational research concepts, tool construction, and standardization.
The second session was led by Dr. K. Revathy, Assistant Professor, Michael Job Memorial College of Education for Women, who provided insights into basic statistical methods and data interpretation in educational research.
The seminar saw active participation from 96 students and faculty members from various reputed institutions. It served as a valuable platform for academic growth and collaborative learning.
Overall, the seminar proved to be a fruitful academic event that deepened participants' understanding of research and statistical practices in education.
