On the occasion of International Youth Skills Day, PPG College of Education organized a Crochet Training Session to promote creativity and skill development among teacher trainees. The session was conducted by Assistant Professor Dr. J. R. Vinu, who demonstrated the fundamentals of crochet making, including different types of stitches and patterns.
The B.Ed. students participated enthusiastically, gaining hands-on experience in creating simple crochet designs. The workshop not only enhanced their creative skills but also encouraged them to incorporate such activities in their future classrooms as a part of experiential learning.
The programme concluded successfully, leaving the participants inspired to explore more skill-based learning opportunities.
