ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION 2026

World Environment Day was celebrated at PPG College of Education on 05.06.2026. To create awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability, various competitions such as Poster Making, Essay Writing, Best Eco-Friendly Practice, and Short Video were conducted.

A total of 25 students participated enthusiastically in the event. The winners were:

  • Poster Making – Sowmiya S. (First Prize)
  • Essay Writing – Ashwini (First Prize) for the essay titled "Role of AI in Environmental Sustainability"
  • Best Eco-Friendly Practice – Harshavardhini (First Prize)
  • Short Video – Sowmiya S. (First Prize)

The programme successfully encouraged students to develop environmental awareness and adopt sustainable practices for a greener future.
