On 11th August 2025, the Anti-Drug Oath was solemnly taken at PPG College of Education. The programme was held in accordance with the Government of Tamil Nadu, initiative to create awareness among students and the public about the harmful effects of drug use and substance abuse. The pledge against drug abuse, a state-wide programme led by the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.  All the faculty members, B.Ed. and M.Ed. students of the institution participated enthusiastically in the awareness activity.

Through this oath, the participants committed themselves to stay away from drugs and also to spread the message to their peers, families, and the community at large. The event reinforced the importance of building a drug-free society and highlighted the role of teachers and students as ambassadors of healthy living. This occasion served as a reminder of the collective responsibility to fight against drug addiction and to create a safe, healthy, and progressive learning environment.
