National Education Day was celebrated with zeal at PPG College of Education on 11.11.2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India. The event aimed to honour his contributions to the field of education and to promote awareness about the importance of educational reforms.

As part of the celebration, a quiz programme on “Education and Its Reforms” was organized by Mrs. D. Anitha, Assistant Professor. The quiz featured multiple rounds testing participants knowledge of educational history, policies, and reforms. Four enthusiastic teams took part, displaying keen intellect and competitive spirit.

After an engaging contest, Mr. Shankar Mahadevan and Ms. Pavithra won the first prize for their outstanding performance. Dr. N. Chitra, Principal of PPG College of Education, distributed prizes to the winners and appreciated their active participation.

The celebration concluded with a message highlighting the enduring value of education as a foundation for national progress and empowerment.
