As part of the Anti-Drug Awareness Week observed from 17.08.2026 to 21.08.2026, an Anti-Drug Awareness Poster Making Competition was conducted at PPG College of Education on 18.08.2026. The competition aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage them to adopt a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.

A total of 15 students from B.Ed. Second Year actively participated in the competition. The students prepared creative posters conveying messages on the dangers of drug addiction, its negative impact on individuals and society, and the importance of preventing substance abuse.

The posters were evaluated based on their creativity, relevance to the theme, clarity of message, and presentation. Sowmiya secured the First Prize, Dency Sherin secured the Second Prize, and Sathya secured the Third Prize.

The competition provided students with an opportunity to express their ideas creatively and spread awareness about the importance of maintaining a drug-free and healthy society.
