All the B.Ed. and M.Ed. students including faculty members visited the Sri Varahi Old Age and boys’ welfare Ashram on 23.02.2024, which is located at Periyanaickenpalayam after getting permission from the management of the ashram. We often overlook the wisdom and experience of the older generation. When we stepped inside the home, the residents warmly welcomed with gentle smile and eager eyes. Each person had a unique story to share, filled with tales of love, loss and hardships. There were more than 70 residents in the ashram. On behalf of the college management, we shared the lunch to all the persons staying over there. Students realized a great experience with the simplest moments and everlasting memories of happiness. Finally, our student volunteers distributed fruits and biscuit packets to them.
