Coimbatore Day was observed on 24 November 2025 in a meaningful and informative manner. The programme began with a brief introduction about the significance of the day. Students actively participated by presenting the history, cultural heritage, and major developments of Coimbatore.

They highlighted the city’s transformation from an ancient trade region to a leading industrial and educational hub in Tamil Nadu. Important aspects such as Coimbatore’s contributions to the textile industry, engineering sector, entrepreneurship, and its recognition as the “Manchester of South India” were discussed in detail. Students also spoke about the city’s pleasant climate, tourist attractions, renowned educational institutions, and its role in supporting the state’s economic growth.
