To mark the occasion of International Environmental Day on 5th June 2025, PPG College of Education organized a meaningful educational trip to the Botanical Garden for the B.Ed. students. The event aimed to create awareness among future educators about the importance of protecting and preserving the environment.
The program was meticulously arranged by Dr. J.R. Vinu, Assistant Professor and Head of the Environmental Club. Her efforts in coordinating the event were commendable and ensured an enriching experience for all participants.
At the Botanical Garden, students were introduced to a wide variety of plant species and educated on their ecological importance. Interactive sessions were held on pressing environmental issues such as global warming, deforestation, pollution, and the need for sustainable practices. The students actively participated in discussions and shared their views and ideas. The program not only deepened their knowledge but also strengthened their commitment to protecting the planet for future generations.
