In observance of World AIDS Day, PPG College of Education organized two impactful events aimed at spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS and its prevention. These events, the Online Quiz Programme on 1st December 2024 and the Oath Taking Ceremony on 2nd December 2024, were conducted by the Red Ribbon Club, under the guidance of Mrs. D. Anitha, Assistant Professor in Computer Science.

On 1st December 2024, an Online Quiz Programme was organized to engage students and test their knowledge on HIV/AIDS, its prevention, and the global efforts to combat the disease. The quiz attracted enthusiastic participation from over 440 students from various colleges. The event aimed to raise awareness among students, ensuring they understood the importance of safe practices, combating stigma, and promoting factual information about HIV/AIDS.

The second event, the Oath taking Ceremony, was held on 2nd December 2024. The students and faculty members, who solemnly pledged to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS.

These initiatives highlighted the importance of spreading knowledge and taking responsibility in the fight against HIV/AIDS, making the observance of World AIDS Day both meaningful and impactful.
