The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Placement Cell of PPG College of Education jointly organized a comprehensive Career Guidance Programme aimed at enhancing students’ employability skills and preparing them for the recruitment process.

The programme was conducted in two enriching sessions:

Session I: Resume Preparation – Expert Guidance

The first session was led by Dr. R. Dinek, M.E., Ph.D., Placement Officer, PPG Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. He provided expert guidance on crafting effective and professional resumes. The session focused on key aspects such as structuring a resume, highlighting strengths and achievements, avoiding common mistakes, and customizing resumes according to job requirements. His practical tips and real-world insights enabled students to understand the expectations of recruiters and the importance of presenting their profiles confidently.

Session II: Facing Interviews – Alumni Insights

The second session was facilitated by Ms. Seema S., B.A., B.Ed., from Alchemy Public School, Coimbatore. As an alumna, she shared her valuable experiences and offered practical strategies for successfully facing interviews. She emphasized the importance of communication skills, body language, confidence, and thorough preparation. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to actively participate and clarify their doubts.

The programme was organized under the leadership of the Principal, Dr. N. Chitra, with the coordination of Mrs. S. Uma Maheswari, Placement Coordinator. The sessions were highly informative and well-received by the students.

Overall, the Career Guidance Programme served as a significant initiative in empowering students with essential career skills and strengthening their readiness to meet professional challenges with confidence and competence.
