Childrens Day Celebration

Childrens Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on 14th November 2024 at Corporation Primary School. The celebration aimed to honour and bring joy to the children of grades 1 to 5 through a series of exciting events. The event was organized and conducted by B.Ed. and M.Ed. students from PPG College of Education, under the guidance and supervision of their respective faculty members. The faculty members actively participated in overseeing the events, ensuring the smooth functioning of each activity.

The day kicked off with a Running Race, where students competed in a fun race, displaying their speed and energy. The excitement continued with a Balloon Bursting competition, where children raced to burst balloons in the shortest time. Another highlight was the Lucky Corner event, which introduced an element of surprise and fun, as students took part in games of chance. A Handwriting Contest was also held to encourage neat and creative writing, with students showcasing their best handwriting skills. These events, along with many others, kept the children fully engaged and entertained throughout the day.

Prizes and snacks were distributed to the children as a token of appreciation for their enthusiasm and participation. Dr. N. Chitra, Principal of PPG College of Education, presented the prizes to the winners, congratulating them and praising all the participants for their spirited involvement. Dr. Chitra also encouraged the students to continue excelling in their future endeavors.

The celebration concluded on a joyful note, with children leaving the school with smiles on their faces and cherished memories of the day’s events. The collaborative efforts of the B.Ed. and M.Ed. students, supported by the faculty members, made this Children’s Day celebration a huge success, fostering a sense of joy and community among the children.
