PPG College of Education organized Samathuva Pongal on 12.01.2025 at the Corporation Primary School, Kandaswamy Nagar, under the guidance of Professor Dr. R. Gomathilatha and Mrs. S. Uma Maheswari. The programme was conducted with the objective of promoting unity, equality, and cultural values among the students and the local community.

As part of the celebrations, traditional Pongal was prepared in a joyful and festive atmosphere, symbolizing prosperity and togetherness. Lucky Corner, Ball Passing, and Balloon Blowing and Bursting were the competitions organized for the school children to encourage their participation, creativity, and enthusiasm. The events witnessed active involvement from the students, who showcased their talents with great excitement.

At the end of the programme, prizes were distributed to the winners in appreciation of their efforts and participation. The celebration concluded on a happy note, leaving the children with memorable experiences and reinforcing the spirit of Samathuva Pongal. Overall, the programme was a grand success and strengthened the bond between the institution and the community.
